Philadelphia District web site.

Members of District Philadelphia are witnessing a number of changes to the local brewing landscape and are looking forward to even more brewery openings in the Delaware Valley. We encourage brewers in our region to become active in MBAA through an active schedule of technical and social meetings.

District Philadelphia is looking forward to participating in ETC 2009. Anyone who is interested in presenting there or at District Philadelphia technical meetings in the coming year are urged to contact our tech chair Whitney Thompson.

You can hear a Sue Henry’s documentary “Beer Gardening in Northeastern Pennsylvania” which aired on Wilkes-Barre’s WILK AM 980 in October 2007. Her documentary is about brewing in the Wyoming Valley past and present and contains interviews with Secretary/Membership Chair Rich Wagner as well as the Lion’s Leo Orlandini.
